This enchanting new build cottage located in Kincardineshire (Aberdeenshire) close to Stonehaven, Aberdeen, Banchory and Royal Deeside is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered.

Completed in 2019 it is situated on a secluded elevated half acre site, giving a stunning plateau effect with woodland only 100 metres away. The large Beachcomber hot tub delivers relaxing massage jets and mood lighting, ideal for starlit soaks. Seating up to 7 guests at any time with variable settings and at a constant 38 degrees, on demand. Red deer are frequent visitors to the fields that surround.

Our Accommodation

The property enjoys high quality furnishings throughout with an open plan living room, dining room and kitchen area to allow maximum use of space and light, ideal for relaxed family holidays.

There are three double bedrooms sleeping up to 7 guests, one of which has a bunk arrangement ideal for families with children. The kitchen is well equipped and the cottage has everything you could possibly need during your stay including TVs in every room with Freeview channels. Wi-fi is available and there is 4G mobile coverage.

There is excellent mountain biking, walking and pony trekking in the the local woods, with a direct route from Smiddy Cottage. Fetterosso Forest is highly rated on the MTB Circuit with three natural trails to choose from, Three Stones , Feterosso Forest and The Mongour
